Marilyn Monroe was once quoted as saying that:

"Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery."

Years later Diana Dawn began portraying Marilyn Monroe.

Embodying the very essence of Marilyn Monroe
that made her an Unforgettable Hollywood Star.
Legendary Comedian & Actor "Jackie Mason"
complimented Diana with being; "bright, witty, talented,
charming, naturally gifted, and possessing Real Star Material."

Diana Dawn and Jackie Mason became fast friends after a chance meeting one night at
a very special event in San Francisco, where Princess Stephanie was performing, and
where Diana was hired to jump out of a cake and sing Happy Birthday as Marilyn.

Jackie Mason was performing at The Curran Theater in San Francisco during that time
and invited Diana Dawn to his show. They brainstormed together on a few occasions about
his show and Diana suggested some fun material to use in his act that would add a local
feel and flavor to it. Diana Dawn was thrilled when Jackie Mason actually used her line in
his show and saw that the audience enjoyed the joke just as much and had a good laugh.

Tony Curtis spotted Diana Dawn one night in December of 2004,
as herself, she was sitting in a crowded theater at a film festival in
Livermore CA, where he was being honored for his achievements.
When Tony was coming off stage he saw Diana, pointed her out to
the entire audience, and said that she looked like Marilyn Monroe
and that she should be the one up on stage, not him, then he told
her to come up on stage, which she was delighted to do, and he
gave her a big hug. It was one of Diana's most memorable moments.

Joe DiMaggio, legendary ball player and former husband of Marilyn Monroe,
were married for a short time back in the 50's But the world will never forget
their True Hollywood Romance.

Diana Dawn had the pleasure of meeting Joe DiMaggio at a City of Hope Golf Tournament
back in the early 80's.  Joe's friends told Diana Dawn that she reminded Joe of his late
wife Norma Jean aka Marilyn Monroe.  Joe asked Diana to hostess his Joe DiMaggio
Invitational and other offers followed. Joe brought Diana a bottle of champagne as a
way of saying thank you and she still bubbles over with joy thinking about it today.

Marilyn & Joe, were married in San Francisco, Ca in January 1954, sadly just 9 months
late they filed for divorce, on Oct. 27th, Ironically the day, not year, that Diana was born.
